The two locations of popular Mexican restaurant Puesto in Irvine are taking a break – Orange County Register

Another popular restaurant has decided to take a break.

Puesto is temporarily closing all locations in California, including two in Irvine, and is suspending the take-away menu for the time being. A message appeared on the website: “We are temporarily closed due to state and regional regulations. We will serve you Trophy Tacos and Perfect Margaritas again asap! “

According to Eric Adler, co-founder of Puesto, all locations will reopen as soon as outdoor dining is permitted. The restaurant, which serves artisanal Mexico City-style margaritas and tacos made from organic stone-ground blue corn tortillas, has seven locations in California, with another coming to Huntington Beach this year.
