The Empire Entertainment Everything (EEEmpire) Committee will host the Sunalia Popup Market at Mount Irvine Bay Resort April 2-4.

The Sunset Market features over 40 food, fashion, and craft vendors, as well as a variety of attractions and activities, including an outdoor cinema, sunset brunch, art workshop, yoga, and beachfront cultural presentation and games.

In a press release, Ken Sambury, CEO of EEEmpire, said the Sunalia concept combines entertainment with retail to create a safe meeting place for entrepreneurs and consumers.

“We have a number of really talented artisans and visionary entrepreneurs who need a high quality, visible platform to showcase their products and services to a willing public. We decided to bring them together in a fun, relaxed market and honestly there is no more suitable place than Tobago, ”said Sambury.

He said the restrictions of the covid19 pandemic not only suppressed sales and hampered business growth, but also affected the psyche of the consumer.

Sunalia, he says, serves a dual purpose in that not only does it bring sellers and buyers together, but it also provides a safe exit where both can vent. Full pandemic logs are in place for the event, he added.

“From the moment you walk into the event, listen to the music and feel that energy, you will feel the weight being lifted. We will comply with all protocols including hand washing, wearing masks, and data collection for contact tracing. We want people to get the much-needed publication too, so we’re going to have a yoga session, we have brunch and beach day planned, and there is an outdoor cinema too, ”Sambury said.
