One of Kobe Bryant’s former homes is available in Irvine

A portion of Kobe Bryant’s former real estate portfolio is receiving fix-and-flip treatment in Irvine. Less than six months after Vanessa Bryant sold the house for $ 2 million, it’s back on the market for $ 2.6 million.

The listing says that nearly $ 200,000 was spent remodeling the Tuscan-style residence that spans the Summit at Turtle Ridge, a gated community just a few miles from Bryant’s long-standing Newport Coast mansion of 2400 square meters is located. Kobe and Vanessa bought the Irvine home as an investment property in 2013 for $ 1.3 million, records show.

The exterior looks a lot like it did when Vanessa sold it with a tile roof and facade last year. Ivy towers over the garage and an enclosed courtyard approaches the one-story floor plan.

The Spanish-style house built in 2003 in a residential complex offers three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms on 2,300 square meters.

The living rooms now look a bit more modern: the wooden floors are lighter, the wooden beam ceilings have been whitewashed and the chandeliers have been replaced with a more contemporary look. Marble covers the island in the kitchen and the fireplace in the living room.

Three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms complete the floor plan. There is a private courtyard with a fountain to the side and a back patio with a garden, hot tub and built in BBQ. Nearby amenities include two pools, cabanas, a movie theater, gym, and clubhouse.

Joele Romeo and Matt Marneau of Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty are keeping the listing.

Vanessa had no problem selling the property in October. She signed a contract two days after listing and took in $ 5,000 more than her price.
