Irvine’s LPA Design Studios nominates the first winner of a scholarship program for historically underrated demographic students with a bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, interior design, or landscape design.
The program aims to provide long-term financial support and mentoring to beneficiaries, the LPA said in a statement.
The LPA Interdisciplinary Diversity Scholarship Program awarded five fourth year high school students in California (2) and Texas (3) a $ 5,000 scholarship that is renewable for four to five years depending on graduation.
