Irvine Seniors thank first responders with free breakfast

IRVINE (CBSLA) – Orange County’s senior citizens are grateful to their first responders.

The seniors who live on Woodbridge Terrace in Irvine are holding a thank you event for their firefighters and police officers and giving them a free breakfast. The facility’s residents say that first responders deserve the credit for putting their lives on the line every day.

“I have so much admiration and respect for these first responders, and you never find a venue, but that’s perfect for me because I made sure they came out really early at 8am because I didn’t want to miss that, none of that “, Said Mimi Poliner.

Residents put up thank you signs and showed them from their seats at the drive through event while bagels, coffee, donuts and more were distributed to first responders.
