An Irvine man, who was the only occupant of a car that hit a guardrail in Tustin, died on Sunday, May 9th.
Police were informed of a crash along Moffett Drive under the Jamboree Road underpass at around 11:50 a.m., the police said in a press release. The responding officers found that a 67-year-old man in a vehicle with severe front-end damage stopped responding.
Paramedics declared the driver dead at the scene of the accident, the police said. His identity was withheld pending notification or by relatives.
Investigators do not believe that drugs or alcohol were involved in the collision. The cause of the crash was investigated. Further information was not released immediately.
