A drive-through breakfast is available for first aiders at the Irvine retirement home
A retirement home in Irvine hosted a drive-through breakfast Thursday to thank local first responders.
IRVINE, Calif. – – A retirement home in Irvine hosted a drive through breakfast Thursday to thank local first responders.
Woodbridge Terrace of Irvine invited the Irvine Police Department and the fire station to drop by for free breakfast and coffee between 8:00 and 10:00 on Thursday.
“Today is about saying thank you and giving back to the community – especially the fire department and the police,” said Eric Juhl of Woodbridge Terrace. “The most important thing for us here in Woodbridge is to keep our residents safe, so we thought it would be fun as a senior community to express our thanks to the police and fire departments.”
“Our local first responders are on the front lines every day and we can’t thank them enough for everything they do,” said Stephen Pratt, Woodbridge Terrace general manager. “We believe in the importance of safety and security, and we have great respect for these incredible people who work every day to keep our community safe. They do so much to take care of us that it is our turn To return a favor. ”
